We had the pleasure of celebrating Memorial Day with our family (grandchildren) at our house. They came to celebrate and picnic and play BUT ---Papa put them all to work. We were in the process of opening our swimming pool for the summer. Had to get a new liner and it is NOT EASY installing those things - takes a lot of people inside and out to get it straight. We still had time to play and have that picnic tho'. Papa barbecued ribs and chicken along with all the fixings. He was a "Super Man" for the entire weekend. Holly and her girls came and Diana and Les came with their children. The main purpose of the weekend was "to scrapbook" and Papa and Les were to babysit. It worked out great and lots of scrapbooking got done even with all the other things going on. Papa enjoyed playing with all the grandchildren and cooking and working on the pool. We pulled out a kiddie pool and slip and slide to entertain and keep the kids cool. It actually worked. Holly, Diana, Miranda and I got to devote most of our time to scrapbooking. Let's do it again girls! Papa said "he is game".
